TIPS & TRICKS

  • Try 3D glasses from Effects menu!

  • Transport quickly to popular locations using Waypoints menu.

  • Listen to tunes via Music menu.

  • Try ProCam mode and other camera options from Camera menu.

  • Check out the Advanced Controls on the help page.
  • SYSTEM RECOMMENDATIONS

  • Browser: For best WebGL 3D compatability and performance, use:

    Google Chrome

    (BEST!)
    or

    Mozilla Firefox

    (ok)

  • Minimum Specs: Performance will vary widely based on chosen terrain size and special effects. Here are some rough min specs:
      * CPU: 2.0 Ghz
      * RAM: 2 GB
      * GPU: Any graphics card (or GPU) will help tremendously.

  • If Shred3D still lags, close all other applications and restart browser.
  • ABOUT

    ABOUT

    Shred3D lets you explore real-world terrain in 3D with activities such as snowboarding, skiing, mountain biking, hang gliding, and wingsuit. Terrain models use 10-meter resolution elevation data and real satellite imagery for textures. Shred3D runs in your browser using WebGL, ThreeJS, and HTML5 technologies.
